The Geometius BathySurvey application adds survey-grade echo sounder support to the Trimble® Access™ software suite.

The BathySurvey application uses a serial port to communicate with the following echo sounders:

• Odom Echotrac CVM
• Odom Echotrac CV100
• Ohmex Sonarmite
• CEE-LINE
• Echologger
• NMEA DBS
• NMEA DBT

The Online workflow appends the measured depth to a position and shows relevant data such as sediment movement in a graph for monitoring

The Barcheck wizard determines the speed of the sound of an acoustic signal in the water which increases the accuracy of the measurement. When using the Odom Echotrac CVM/ CV100 or Ohmex Sonarmite the settings of the echo sounder can be changed. NMEA protocol support enables reading depths from an NMEA string.

A custom stylesheet is delivered with the BathySurvey application to convert the Trimble Access Job file to a comma separated ASCII file.
